One of the questions I am asked fairly often is if I have shot at a particular venue before. The answer is almost always no. Is it because I'm not asked to come back? LOL - no, it's just because of the sheer amount of amazing wedding venues we have at our disposal in Oregon. Besides the beach (which is new every day because of the weather) almost every location is a new adventure for me. Whether it's a chic downtown hotel, a family ranch, a state park or a dedicated wedding venue, every one is unique and personalized for each wedding. So even if I had shot at a particular location 27 times, it's going to look and feel different each and every time. This also means that I am introduced to new and beautiful locations off the beaten path on a weekly basis! Cedar Springs Country Estate is one of those. Located five miles North of Sandy - about an hour East of Portland - it's where Sarweshni and Jack decided to have their traditional Indian wedding ceremony.
I loved the bouquet! I had never seen such dark red calla lillies before!
Sarweshni was such a beautiful bride! There were so many beautiful details between her outfit, jewlery and gorgeous bouquet it was hard to choose where to shoot first!
The groom arrives!
Here comes the bride!
Married!
This was a morning ceremony - and by the time the reception was ending it was *warm* - poor Sarweshni was so hot in her Lehenga that we only had a short time to squeeze in some couples portraits around noon-ish.
I loved the treehouse on site at Cedar Springs! I want one at my house!
I could go on and on... But you can see a ton more here >>> Sarweshi and Jack
Thank you both for having me out to your beautiful and unique day!
