I am skipping ahead a little bit here, because I could not wait to share this AMAZING birthday party. There are certain life "truths" about being a parent. If you are a photographer your kid will have a million photos taken of him before he hits two years old {pleading guilty on that one}. And if you are one of the area's premier cake, cookie and dessert makers, your kid is going to have a phenomenal birthday party!
Alexis chose the Alice in Wonderland "Tea Party" theme, and her mama - Jasmine from Cakes with Jaz - followed through on every last detail!
The two tiered cake was both tasty and beautiful!

The dessert table was brimming with goodies!! Cake, cookies, cupcakes big and small, chocolate covered pretzels, a chocolate fountain with purple chocolate... it was a sugar wonderland!!
The outside pond was transformed into a bubbling brook with the help of some dry ice :)
After present time the party moved to the front yard for some croquet fun - complete with pink flamingos for golf clubs!!
The whole group! The the Mad Hatter, cards, the king and queen of hearts, the Chesire cat, the White Rabbit and of course little Alice herself!
