It's been several years in my dreams, and several months in the construction - but it is nearly finished. It's not quite a studio, not quite an office, but it is a beautiful separate place to showcase my photography, meet with clients, and host a few special events. There are just a few more things to add before I call it completely done - but I wanted to share a few photos of the inside as progress is made towards it's completion.
This is my favorite "art project" in the space. I am not a big fan of shelving, but I love my vintage camera collection and wanted to display it in a fun way. This was SUPER easy, and I think it showcases them in a fitting manner.
I purchased the frame from a thrift shop, taped off the scrollwork and the fabric parts, and painted the wood a pretty turquoise to match the accents in the rest of the room.
A few of my favorites:
The "Chair and a Half" and the Coffee Table are made from old pallets and I couldn't be happier with the results! I Love reusing things that might not otherwise get a 2nd chance, and this was an easy way to give them a new purpose!
A wider view of how it looks so far. Waiting on a new canvas collection, and a few more appropriate chairs, and curtains and I will call it good and share the rest. So excited to welcome clients new and old into this space. Thanks to everyone who has helped this to come together!!
