When I see a fellow photographer mention that this was their "Favorite wedding this year" or "my favorite couple ev-eh" I always cringe. I mean, what about all the rest of their couples this year? I seriously love every wedding I am allowed to attend. Every one is special and unique and wonderful, and I'm not just saying that!! :)
However, I am going to have to make an exception for this wedding. I have to say that this is my favorite wedding this year. Maybe even this decade, ok, maybe 2nd only to my own... Why you ask? Because I love these two so so much, and their coming together in marriage is perfection. Traci is my best friend in the world, going back 13 years now! And Bob is a long time friend of my brother in-law, and I introduced them!! I literally knew from the moment I met Bob that he and Traci needed to be together, and I am glad they agreed with me!

I was pulling double duty at this wedding, not only was I the photographer, I was also the Matron of Honor, so I shot a lot of this in a bridesmaid dress and 3 inch heels. Traci and I got our hair and makeup done at Ruby's Spa. They did an amazing job on Traci's 40's inspired hair and makeup and I loved my updo as well! Not to mention the space is beautiful!

It was raining for most of the day - but we had a great time searching out little spots around the hotel. The classic decor of McMenamins Edgefield complemented the 40s vibe Traci and Bob were rockin!

Bob and traci are both fantastc photographers, so using vintage cameras as their centerpieces was a perfect fit!

I obviously couldn't photograph the ceremony, but I did squeeze in one more shot of Traci with her two proud fathers before it was my turn to walk down the aisle!

We had a break between the ceremony and the reception while the McMenamin's staff changed out Blackberry Hall with the tables and chairs. It had stopped raining, so we took advantage of the break - even though it was pitch black out.

Making it official on Facebook!!

The beautiful cake made by Tracis talented sister.

Tracis nephew Aiden getting down with his bad self on the dancefloor!

Auntie Traci was no slouch herself!

Such a wonderful evening for a fabulous couple!! Thank you to both of you for being in our lives. Best wishes for many many years to come!!
