Jesse and Julie - Aspen Lakes Golf Course, Sisters Oregon (Part 2)

Hit "post" a little too quickly on that last post, so I will just keep going!! :)

Before we went back to the reception we got the bridal party in on the fun.

I love how you can see them in Jesse's ring!

 
Julies Dad rocked his speech - he is obviously a very proud dad!

I never get to watch the slideshows at weddings, because I am too busy people watching - I love it :)

 

Then some dancing...

During the father/daughter dance, Julie invited all of the fathers and daughters onto the dance floor - it was really sweet!

 
I grabbed them for one last shot before they went to change!

Jesse and Julie - Aspen Lakes Golf Course, Sisters Oregon

Julie and Jesse are back from their fantastic honeymoon in Costa Rica (SO jealous btw) So I am happy to share my favorites from their lovely wedding at Aspen Lakes in Sisters!!

I started the day with the girls, while the fantabulous Julia Radlick from Jewel Images in Bend, took off with the guys. Julie's bridesmaids were all so stunning - and wearing my favorite color!! I loved Brooke's dress (on the far left) the most because it had *pockets!!* Brilliant!

Julie was so nervous, Julia and I just wanted to hug her and tell her how excited Jesse was to marry her - but we knew al the nerves would be gone as soon as she saw him at the end of the aisle!

We got a few minutes with the happy couple before they joined the reception.

Fun with a new lens, and a wedding outtake

Julie and Jesse have requested that I hold off on posting their wedding pictures on the blog and Facebook until they get back from their honeymoon in Costa Rica in a couple weeks.  Which is totally cool - but I had a couple of my own that I would love to share in the meantime.

I was about an hour early to the wedding venue - the beautiful Aspen Lakes golf course, so I took the time to play around with a Tilt/Shift lens that I borrowed from my dad. A T/S lens basically has glass inside that is angled, so the focus plane is not straight across, but at an angle.  Its tricky - but I had a blast trying out a new technique.

None of these have been altered to look like this in Photoshop - they really come out of the camera looking like this! :)

 

 

(ETA - forgot the wedding outtake!  I didn't want to distract from J+J's blog post of their wedding by making fun of my friend...lol) I wanted to post one of my 2nd shooter for the day - Julia from Jewel Images in Bend.  She is SO rad - seriously!  She is an award winning portrait artist! But I love this shot of her getting down and dirty for a different angle on the ceremony.  :)
