Welcome Connor Payton! Newborn Photography - Albany Oregon

You might remember his gorgeous mama from her maternity session a few weeks back!  Well - the little one who was in there - is out now!  Conner was born last Wednesday, and I got to meet him this afternoon.

I couldn't decide which one I liked better... so you get both! :)

 

Being sleepy was not in the cards!  But thats ok - he was still sweet and beautiful!

 

 
Thanks to Daddy Nathan for getting one with me and the tiny nugget. Funny story - I often call small things "sweet little nuggets."  When Connor's big sister Ryllie heard me call him that, she corrected me right away, "He's not a nugget, he's a baby." :) Sorry Ryllie!

Morgan Alexander - Superstar! (Part 2) Musician Headshots

I like it when someone comes up to me and says - "Ok - do your thing."  Morgan is great for that!! :)  He decided since he was headed to Nashville this week, he needed to freshen up the headshots from the ones we did last time >>>Part One<<< (Although the one with the train is still one of my favorite shots ever!!)

So we took to the streets of downtown Albany again to see what we could come up with!

Tim and Ilana, Coos Bay Wedding Reception

Because of my chosen profession - it is very rare that I actually get to *attend* weddings... In fact, I gave it some thought... and I think the last wedding I attended as a guest, was my cousin Missy's wedding that was two weeks after my own, five years ago! lol So it was a blast to sit back and enjoy my friends and family on the Oregon Coast.  I loved their wedding website What a great idea to keep guest informed about the wedding plans, rsvp's and gift registries.

I only took a few pics with my point and shoot - I didn't want to be "that guy" so I didn't bring the right gear for a nighttime reception under a tent lit only by candlelight... so bear with me with the straight-on flash shots from my little personal camera :)

I LOVED Tim's sister Laura's dress - she made it herself out of a raincoat!!  How "Oregon" is that?!? I want to order one Laura :)

It was so fabulous being able to be a guest at the joining of these two awesome people.  Both of their families are so great - they are each the perfect addition to the other. Have a wonderful time in Thailand!  I can't wait to see pictures of your adventure!
