Last weekend was the amazing wedding of Zach and Jesse in Philomath! Well, a little outside Philomath, at the Beazell Memorial Forest Education Center. This place is a gem!! A beautifully remodeled barn has a huge open area for eating and dancing and a nice area for the bride to get ready.
The flowers were so beautiful!
Jesse and Zach put together one of the coolest wedding programs I have ever seen - it fully detailed everything that was happening in the ceremony, including describing the Chuppah - quoted from the program: "The chuppah (wedding canopy) is intended to create an intimate space symbolizing the home that the bride and groom will share together. the sides are left open to signify that all friends and family are welcome into their new life and home. The roof of our chuppah is a quilt created by Jesse's mother incorporating ties belonging to Jesse's father." How cool is that?
Married!!
This is why I love Jesse... a Photography Schedule, printed in the program! She also listed me in the program! The little 'ol lowly photographer!
He is thinking this cake cutting business is taking too long I think...
So, this is what I call the 60 second photo session. The light was so beautiful outside and I had to get this shot. So, while they were standing around waiting for the toasting glasses to be filled, we booked it outside under this tree - for literally 60 seconds.
And this was the wall directly behind the cake. Doesn't she look like a super model?
After the cake and toasts we used up the last 15 minutes of yummy light and headed outside again while the guests ate their cake. (The cake was from Market of Choice and OMG, it was SO good!!)
And then back inside for dancing!!!
Super huge thanks to my buddy Traci for helping me. You have to check out her shots on her blog >>>here<<< I love the one with the guests holding down the aisle runner with their feet!!
I know I usually say I have too many favorites to post here - but I posted almost all of them this time. I know Jesse is one of my dedicated "Blog Stalkers" and has been so patient waiting for this! :) Can't wait to see you both again soon - I hope you like your preview!
